Because there is a deluge of copywriting services on the internet, rates can undeniably vary in degrees. One may charge to up to $150 for one content ccvering xxx number of words, while there’s another one who will charge as low as $008.00 per word. And for someone who is looking to have some web content written, the decision should not come very easily. Planning must be in order. You must not be very easily swayed by rates.

If you’re thinking of commissioning writers, it is best to come up with decent criteria to help define what is more important to you:

Education vs. experience.
A degree is a plus, but the actual experience is of more importance. Validate the credentials of the writer you plan on hiring. Ask for samples of his or her work and evaluate the samples to get that person’s writing style and see if it is one that fits your requirements.

Effectiveness vs. cost per word.
Some business owners shop for writers who can deliver articles at a cost per word, thinking this could be cheaper. This is doable in the sense that anyone who has an average command of the English language can actually write the articles. But in the bigger picture --- is it an effective article?
