 Coming up with the ideal layout for brochures or flyers is not as easy as most people would think. While it is true that the important thing is to pack all the information into paper, it remains that the design layout should be balanced and equal.
The reason behind this is to make the advertising material entirely appealing, informative and useful without having to provide that heavy feeling as far as visualization is concerned. There are instances where people want to innovate but unless your style has been tested, it would be better to stick to standard formats rather than gamble on the impact it may have on the target audience.

One thing you have to consider is the proper formatting and flow of your brochure. While we may not even notice it, it is similar to narrating a story in essence. Stage by stage placement of the focus points in them is important since answering as much of the questions that clients may have should be properly seen on them. In a manner of speaking, that is the purpose of brochures and flyers; to become an alternative means of providing answers to questions in mind of your patrons.
One common mistake that artists conclude is that graphics are the important part of a marketing material. This is only partly true. While graphics and images do capture the attention of the public, you also have to be prepared on the details and information that they will be seeking next. Graphics and imaging can provide different meanings. But as far as clients are concerned, they want answers immediately available. This is why you have to be careful on what content you place on it. They will be the climax of a good brochure or flyer representing your product or service in the end.
